Ruby and Lilli – Champagne Bubbles 3 ways

Ruby and Lilli the Australian extended size tee brand are going from strength to strength. Great quality, sizes XS to 6X and regular releases of awesome limited edition tees. I love the mix of short and long sleeve, designs and staples, foil and sequins.

I just knew I had to have the Champagne Bubbles tee when I saw it on the @rubyandlilli instagram as part of a naming competition. So last time I went to visit the gorgeous Kath from Katherine Davis Photography in Bendigo I just knew I wanted to wear the tee. And what better way to show you just how lovely and versatile Ruby and Lilli tees are I decided to style it three ways.

And have you seen that Ruby and Lilli now do After Pay – where you get to pay in instalments and have the clothes straight away. It’s like layby but even better! See here for some more details.

Look 1: Cherry Blossoms

I wanted to add some colours and make the most of the beautiful pink cherry blossoms in Bendigo. I’m wearing Ruby and Lilli Champagne Bubbles tee in size L, Phosizzle Folly Tea skirt from the Lollygaggers collection in size 16 (sold out except one size 10!), vintage blue cape and handmade floral crown. My shoes are Spurr from The Iconic (similar here) and my clutch is thrifted (cute options here and here).

I absolutely adore my Folly Tea skirt from Phosizzle – it was part of a very limited collection called the Lollygaggers. Word is the limited run of these skirts was due to the fabric being the end of the roll and I’m hoping Jaqui will re-create this skirt in other colours or patterns. I love the midi length, the deep box pleats, the luxe linen fabric and of course the glorious pink! I also wore it here.

Look 2: Denim cool

For my second take on the Champagne Bubbles tee I’ve paired it with some light wash skinny jeans (these ones are from Kmart but there are some nice ones here), my faux leather jacket (similar here) and some gold flats.

How cool is this location?! When Kath and I were exploring around a walking trail in Bendigo we found this huge pile of smashed bricks. I think they look a little bit like piles of Autumn leaves!

Look 3: Champagne Bubbles

I think I’ve saved the best for last. Who doesn’t love a tutu!? and how adorable is this champagne bottle clutch!? Tutus are all the rage at the moment and you can dress them up or dress them down, Society+ (formerly Cool Gal Blue) have so many lovely ones I got mine years ago from ASOS. I got my clutch from New Look in the UK (I bought online) but unfortunately it’s now sold out and its so unique that I can’t find one similar for you!

How dreamy is this location?! The snowdrop flowers and long grass were so lovely and Kath did such a great job of capturing the moment!

  1. I love the first and last outfits – though I am a sucker for tutus!

I love seeing your tutu looks! I think I might need to get some of the Society+ tutus, I already have 2 crinolines and a tutu… how many is too many tutus?

  2. Oh gosh! How gorgeous are these images? And the outfits! I don’t know which one I love the most! Okay, probably the tutu one, but that is because tutus are awesome!
